Talking about the climate. But how?

Climate change affects us all, yet discussions about it can be challenging. The topic quickly goes beyond just the facts and involves values, emotions, personal experiences and even misinformation. At the same time, effective climate communication is crucial for reaching people, fostering understanding and initiating societal change.            

This is where apropos_clima comes in. Together with the Stiftung Risiko-Dialog, catta coordinates a nationwide network for climate communication in Switzerland. The project brings together individuals from the fields of science, education, administration, the media, civil society and professional practice who specialise in communicating about climate change and climate protection.

Through workshops, exchange formats and practical tools, we promote knowledge transfer between research and practice. The collaboration with klimafakten.de introduces additional expertise in evidence-based climate communication to the network. This creates spaces where people can share experiences, learn from each other, and further develop effective approaches.
