Eintüten - where does our food come from?
A citizen science project with Aargau municipalities on the regionality and seasonality of our food.
Since 2022 | Own project
The 'Klub der Klugscheisser' is redefining the boundaries of science communication. During entertaining evenings, participants take on the challenge of captivating the audience with bold theses, covering topics ranging from flying polar bears to frog pregnancy tests. At the heart of the club is the art of argumentation. It's not just about presenting the most original theories, but also about convincing the audience with your arguments. Ultimately, it is the audience that decides who will take home the Golden Klugschiss. This format fosters critical thinking and the ability to distinguish facts from fiction in a playful way.
The 'Klub der Klugscheisser' makes science communication entertaining, creating true 'scientainment'. This format encourages participants and the audience to consider the credibility of information and the effectiveness of arguments. It shows that even the most absurd claims can be made to sound convincing. Through this entertaining approach, the audience not only learns about the topics discussed, but also practises engaging critically with theses and assertions.
Entertainment is certainly at the heart of the 'Klub der Klugscheisser'. However, it's also about questioning news and assertions, as well as having thrilling debates and making witty arguments. In the long term, the project fosters critical awareness of misinformation and strengthens media literacy. By engaging with scientific topics in a playful way, the club sparks interest in science and hones the participants' communication skills.
