More awareness for sustainability in Swiss museums and exhibition venues
Since 2025 | Kanton Aargau, Koordinationsstelle Neobiota
Invasive neophytes are spreading rapidly in Switzerland, posing a significant threat to biodiversity, agriculture and infrastructure. Controlling them is labour-intensive and often difficult to manage alone.
With #zämesammle, a digital platform has emerged that addresses exactly this issue. It connects land managers with volunteers to work together to clear affected areas of invasive plants. This transforms a complex environmental problem into a tangible, local opportunity for action.
Developed in the canton of Aargau, the platform will be used in other cantons such as Fribourg and Bern from 2026.
Many people want to contribute actively to nature, the environment and local agriculture, but often lack direct access to meaningful activities. At the same time, landowners, municipalities and agricultural businesses need support in managing their areas.
#zämesammle brings these two groups together. The platform makes affected areas visible and facilitates straightforward mediation between supply and engagement.
As a low-threshold contact point, it provides concrete opportunities for action and offers knowledge about invasive neophytes, how to identify them, and how to remove them. This creates a participatory approach focused on joint action.
The platform acts as a digital meeting point with clear, user-friendly features:
#zämesammle strengthens biodiversity and supports local agriculture and community engagement.
Join in and become part of #zämesammle – every area and every helping hand counts!
