More awareness for sustainability in Swiss museums and exhibition venues
2023 | Stadt Bern
On the occasion of the opening of the Sustainability Days on September 9, 2023, in Bern, our team developed interactive stations focusing on nutrition, climate protection, and air quality.
Visitors were given the opportunity to discover important aspects of climate protection and environmental responsibility through playful activities such as a seasonality game, a CO₂ quiz and live air quality monitoring.
The aim was to demonstrate the importance of sustainable practices at individual and city levels, and to encourage discussion about how we can all contribute to a more climate-friendly world.
The concept behind the interactive stations is to make complex topics such as climate protection, sustainable nutrition and air quality understandable and engaging.
By directly involving visitors in playful, interactive learning experiences, awareness of these important topics is heightened and the importance of science communication in public education is emphasized.
Using science communication at events such as the Sustainability Days raises awareness and motivates people to actively engage in environmental protection.
